Profile

We’re located in downtown Toronto’s Entertainment District and right next to Queen Street West, the Art Gallery of Ontario and beautiful Grange Park. The university has twelve buildings in the heart of the city. Our campus is easily accessible by transit and surrounded by safe, walkable neighbourhoods.

OCAD U has more than 4,500 students and 17 undergraduate programs. Field placement and internship opportunities are available in almost every program. We have over 400 faculty who are practicing artists and designers in their fields.  With small class sizes and technical staff in all our shops and studios, you are more than just a number to us.

Just like any other university, we provide a supportive and fun campus life experience. Our campus includes a medical centre, library, plenty of chill-out space, food court and opportunities for intramural sports and social events.

Being ready financially will help you to focus on your creative practice, classes and getting the most out of your time at OCAD U. There are many ways to support your education costs: scholarships, bursaries, on-campus jobs and more!

Full-time domestic students should expect to pay around $7,200 per academic year, while full-time international students will pay around $27,500 per academic year.

The total fees due is based on the number of credits the student registers for per term. Students will usually take an average of 4-5 classes per term. Classes will usually count as 0.5 or 1.0 credit, so an average student would take 2.5 credits per term.
