Read about the experiences of past international students.
Coming from a big, over-populated city in India, it was refreshing for me to move to a city that offers a perfect balance between ‘Living in the City’ and ‘Living in the Wild.’ Thunder Bay provided everything I wanted in a beautiful package of academic and recreational activities.
Ankit Raj, India, Master of Science (Computer Science)
Lakehead is known as a top university in undergraduate research in Canada. By doing experiments and writing lab reports, the theory part of my study is completed. We were taught the spirit of Chemistry in classes and then we can actually get to know the fun parts when we’re doing the hands-on labs.
Lakehead has also given me a lot of hands-on experience throughout my degree, especially through the cooperative education program. In my third year, I decided to do my co-op as a Client Advisor with RBC. I loved the experience so much that I am still working with them now, three years later.
