REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • If you are applying to a Fast-Track or Graduate Certificate program: college or university transcripts and diploma or degree certificate are required.
  • For Post-Secondary Programs: High school transcripts and diploma are required.
  • If your transcripts are not in English, you must submit the original transcript and a translation in English (translated by a certified translator).
  • Academic English Proficiency (Opens In A New Tab) (IELTS, TOEFL, ITEP, CAEL, Pearson Test of English, Duolingo English Test, or demonstration of English Proficiency through Previous Education).
  • Please review the admissions requirements for your program on the online program outline; portfolio, letter of interest, resume, or online program information session may be required for your program.
  • The last 4 digits of your passport number and city of birth. Please DO NOT send a copy of your passport
  • Standardized tests from your home country may be required – check with the International Admissions Assistant (Opens In A New Tab) for your region for individual assistance.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
All course work at Centennial College is taught in English, and success in our programs requires a high level of English language proficiency including communication, listening, comprehension, reading, and writing skills. As such, all applicants to Centennial College must demonstrate an acceptable level of English language proficiency to be admitted to their program of choice.

In order to meet the language proficiency requirement, applicants can demonstrate English proficiency through:

  3. Recognized English proficiency tests or assessments.

Centennial College supports leadership development and student success. For example, a Centennial international student is the 2020 Gold Recipient of the Leadership Excellence Award for Students by Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).

Centennial students experience the real world before they graduate. For example, our Business students pitched their product accessibility innovation to industry judges and won Gold at the 2021 Enactus National Competition. At the 2021 Skills Ontario Competition, our students took home six gold, eight silver and six bronze medals. Centennial also won the College Award of Distinction for the third consecutive competition. At the 2021 Skills Canada competition, three Centennial students made it to the podium!

Scholarships and Bursaries

International students are not eligible for Ontario financial aid, or Centennial College’s entry scholarships.  However, after the first year of study, international students can be eligible for partial scholarships and bursaries based on academic merit, sports and athletics, and leadership along with all other students.

Housing

Centennial College wants all international students to feel welcome and comfortable in their new home away from home. There are many options available to students, including Centennial Residence or living off campus with other students or on your own.
