Student Testimonials

Read about the experiences of past international students.

  1. I was able to work on campus by helping international students with their questions and I did my internship with the college’s organization, NCTakeOff, which assists young entrepreneurs with their business plans. Niagara College is a place that reflects their slogan, Applied Dreams.

Firas El-Zein, Lebanon, Business - Sales and Marketing
  2. What I loved about the NC community was its openness to diversity, inclusion and support tools for international students. Leaving behind your home country, family and friends is so dramatic. I was waiting for a school that could help me with this transition.

Paula Natalia Gongora Quintero, Colombia, Business Administration – Human Resources (Co-op)
  3. My English is understood today because I studied in NC’s English for Academic Preparation (EAP) program and now English has become my second language. The EAP program has helped me a lot with my post-secondary studies, with getting a job, and with being able to talk to people here.

Ingrid Vitalino, Brazil; EAP, Construction Engineering
